I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor trained at MSc level. Alongside my private practice, I work as psychotherapist for a large hospital healthcare trust.

Prior to psychotherapy, my career as a nurse working in the NHS, the private sector, schools and across clinical specialities has supported my understanding and compassion of both physical and mental health. My devotion to this much-loved career helped guide me towards the therapist I am today.

For me, being a psychotherapist provides a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. It is a real privilege to work with so many individuals, to be trusted and to watch people grow.

Some examples of areas that I work with

Depression or feeling low, stress, anxiety, trauma, loss or bereavement, abuse, self-harm, suicidal ideation, addiction, eating disorders, work-related issues, anger, guilt, relationship problems, marital and/or family issues, low self-esteem, insomnia, fatigue, issues around identity.
